Acupuncture

Customized Acupuncture Treatment - $150

Acupuncture treatment works by balancing our body’s organ systems. Dr. Posey practices Japanese style acupuncture, using fine needles, gentle palpation, and deep listening to what has brought you here; she couples ancient theory with modern medicine in order to return the body to an optimal state of health. From hormonal imbalances and emotional trauma to musculoskeletal pain and chronic fatigue, the scope of Chinese Medicine is both broad and holistic, treating both the root and branch of the dis-ease simultaneously. Acupuncture treatments may also include gua sha, cupping therapy, hot stones, and/or moxibustion based on the individual’s presentation.

Acupuncture Treatment with E-stim (Electrical Stimulation) - $175

E-stim is gently placed on needles in order to vibrate the body’s musculoskeletal and nervous systems, reducing flammation, alleviating muscle pain and calming the spirit. Hara Abdominal Massage is an ancient Japanese medical tool used to assess the integrity of the 10 organ systems. Gentle palpation of these systems is completed in a specific order, slowly engaging with different abdominal areas, while keeping patient comfort as the guiding force. Afterward, Dr. Posey feels the pulses in each wrist coupled with tongue diagnosis, she shares her findings with the patient, in order to fortify their self-knowledge and create new avenues for holistic healing.

Acupuncture Treatment with Tui Na (Advanced Chinese Medical Massage) - $230

“Tui Na,” is an advanced Chinese Medical Massage often utilized interdependently with acupuncture. Using advanced touch to circulate stagnant energy from stuck places in the body, the imbalanced organ systems are gently woken up prior to needling, with long-stroke massage, acupressure, and joint mobilization. Using Tui Na with acupuncture is like stretching before a long run – while serving as medicine in it’s own right, it is a fantastic warm-up to healing.

This "comprehensive" nutrition consultation is a step above our traditional 60-minute nutrition consultation in that our Registered Dietitian provides along with your nutrition home plan, an individualized meal plan that honors both your food preferences and your individual energy needs. Serving size suggestions will be computed and provided from our Registered Dietitian to support your nutrition goals within your plan and a meal plan/menu, and a shopping list will be included with this consult.
